Around 8 000 employees work in Komerční banka. This concerns a very diversified group of employees:
- more than 70% of employees in KB are women,
- almost one hundred new employees join their career path with KB every month; there are also employees

In terms of human resources management in KB we touch on all differences, which diversity brings with it.We try to change
our diversity into this strength.
We perceive that a combination of various experiences, ways of thinking and view of the world means more complex
resolution of tasks. More diverse teams are also more creative, they have access to more information and thus make
more effective decisions.
Diversity and equal opportunities
- The Société Générale Group supports diversity and talents, develops the skills of its employees through

- In terms of the projects led by the Human Resources Department, KB is introducing various processes and
tools for various groups of employees. Thanks to the diversified approach, these tools better react

Employees on maternity or paternity leave
- In terms of the process of career management, we devote a special amount of care to employee
on maternity and paternity leave – we always try to find a solution, how to combine the interests of the
bank with the interests of the employees, thereby harmonizing their professional and personal life.
- Our aim is to provide these employees with conditions for their smooth return after their maternity and paternity leave and to
allow them to more easily get back onto their career path.
- We are open to alternative workloads – we allow for part time work, flexible working hours, work from home
or job sharing among other things.
Students
- We cooperate with the important Czech universities, student organisations (AIESEC, IAESTE, CEMS) and also some colleges.
- Long-term cooperation in this field constantly brings success stories, as can be seen by the fact that we have
won the title “Most desirable employer of the year for university graduates” several times now.
- Thanks to this cooperation, we present ourself not only as a perspective employer for young graduates.
- We offer students work experience during studies, support in terms of various university projects, financial support,
lecturing and other activities.
- In terms of international cooperation with SG, we participate in various projects
- VIE (Volontaires Internacionaux en Entreprise), via which university students and graduates can gain professional

Education and development
