National Theatre

Support for Czech culture is Komerční banka's main area of sponsorship. The largest programme is all-round support for the artistic activities of the National Theatre, a symbol of Czech independence and cultural history.

It is a matter of prestige for Komerční banka to associate its name with this preeminent Czech theatrical institution, thereby contributing to its further development. Extended co-operation between Komerční banka and the National Theatre is also borne out by the Komerční banka Award; every year at the end of the season awards are given in recognition of the best premiere performance of the soloists of the National Theatre's ballet, drama and opera ensembles.
French Film Festival

The French Film Festival, of which Komerční banka has been the main partner for many years, attracts more and more filmgoers every year.

French film has traditionally had a strong position among Czech viewers and this festival allows them to look at many interesting novelties and genre specialities from the rich cinematography of the country of the Gallic cockerel.

This festival provides an appropriate addition – film production – to the portfolio of supported cultural events.
