Authorised Overdrafts for Individuals

The possibility of drawing on your current account into the red.

Authorised overdraft is intended for:

  • natural persons over the age of 18
  • owners of a KB current account KB

Characteristics of the Authorised overdraft:

  • a short-term non-specific loan
  • possibility of drawing on your current account into the red and thus covering a short-term lack of funds
  • an Authorised overdraft can be drawn on up to the prearranged level
  • an Authorised overdraft can be used for any regular transaction
  • you automatically repay the authorised overdraft whenever you make a deposit or funds are credited to your current account
  • each of the above-mentioned transactions increases the available balance, which can again be drawn on subject to requirement
  • a condition is that the balance in the current account is zero or in the black at least once during the maturity period (30 or 180 days according to the type of authorised overdraft)
  • after the loan has been settled it can be drawn on again for a whole 30 or 180 days
KB offers the following types of Authorised overdrafts:
  • Authorised overdraft Start
    • intended for owners of Ideal accounts, Perfekt accounts, Extra accounts, Premium accounts and MůjÚčet packages
    • possibility of going into the red in a current account for 30 days
    • overdraft limit between CZK 2,000 and 10,000 set on the basis of individual evaluation of the client by the bank
    • to apply for an overdraft, you must present the following:
      • a Confirmation of level of income form completed by the employer
      • or a tax return with confirmation of income tax payment
      • or assessment of old age or disability pension or similar.
  • Authorised unsecured overdraft
    • you can apply for this after holding any KB account (Ideal account, Perfekt account, Extra account, Premium account, Top offer, MůjÚčet or G2 account) for six months
    • possibility of drawing on your current account into the red for 180 days
    • the overdraft limit is set according to individual assessment of the client by the bank to a maximum level of CZK 60,000
    • you do not need to present any documents for handling of the application
    • your relationship manager will let you the know the options open to you immediately

  • loan without the need to provide security
