Until now, Jan Kotík (40) has worked as Head of Managerial Accounting at Komerční banka. He joined Komerční banka in 2003. Before joining the bank he worked at Ahold, initially in the Czech Republic as internal audit manager (between 1999 and 2002) and later in Slovakia as a member of the Board of Directors and CFO. He started his professional career in Paris at MAZARS & GUERARD, working as an auditor and consultant for various companies from 1996 to 1999.
Jan Kotík graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, University of Economics in Prague, and completed his studies at ESC Lyon, France, in 1996. In addition to some other professional training programmes, in 2005 he completed an Executive course at Harvard Business School in Boston.
Jan Kotík speaks fluent English and French, and communicates in Russian and Slovak very well.
