Komerční banka offers the payment protection insurance policy with Profi úvěr FIX business loans free of charge. "Business owners need not undergo any up-front medical check or any other formalities; it is enough to fill a short questionnaire on their state of health. Business owners have shown a great interest in this policy. In August 2009 alone, Profi úvěr FIX loans accounted for almost 20% of the total production of loans for small businesses," says Radko Belada, head of KB Retail Banking Marketing.
To be insured, recipients of Profi úvěr FIX loans must be at least 18 years and at most 60 years of age. The sum of the entry age and the insurance policy term expressed in years may not exceed 62 years. The policy will remain in effect throughout the term of the loan agreement.
Effective as from 24 August 2009, Komerční banka charges interest on the loans in relation to their maturity. For loans payable within one year, the interest rate has been cut from the original 12.2% to 10.9% and for loans payable in one to three years the rate has been cut from the original 12.2% to 11.5%. For maturities from three to five years the rate stays at the original level, i.e., 12.2%.
The Profi úvěr FIX business loan has been specifically designed for small businesses, to which it offers quick and easy access to the finances that they need for funding current assets, capital expenditure and operating requirements. The benefits of this loan include complete arrangements within three to five days in an accelerated approval process. Moreover, the bank's current clients who have kept a current account with KB for at least six months can obtain a Profi úvěr FIX without the need to present their income tax return or financial statements.
"Profi úvěr Fix is a risk-free business loan. The fixed interest rate and annuitised instalments give the business owner the certainty that the level of instalments will be constant while the insurance policy will cover them for the event of health complications. Business owners appreciate all of this mainly today, at the time of economic uncertainty," adds Radko Belada.
