Komerční banka has developed a deposit product that will make it possible for clients to have their money readily available in the case of unpropitious situations in life such as long-term illness, loss of employment, and full or partial disability, while enjoying an attractive return. Clients can open term accounts with a guarantee of early withdrawals without any sanctions, for terms ranging from one to five years and obtain an interest rate of up to 3.6% depending on the term they select.
"Komerční banka is aware of the fact that clients are currently afraid of long-term investments, primarily because of low liquidity and low accessibility of money in the case of an unpropitious situation in life. At the same time, however, they expect a high percentage of growth from deposit products. Komerční banka has therefore combined the two requirements into a single product," says Radko Belada, head of retail banking at Komerční banka.
Term accounts with a guarantee of early withdrawals without any sanctions make it possible for clients to dispose of deposits of up to one million crowns. Clients will receive all of their money back, and will not even forfeit the interest accrued by the day of withdrawal if they prove that one of the above unfavourable situations has happened to them.
The offer of the term accounts with a guarantee of early withdrawals is limited in time, from 1 October 2009 to 6 November 2009.
