Laurent Goutard, Komerční banka Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, has announced today that effective from 10 September 2009 he will accept a new position and a new exciting challenge within the Société Générale Group in France.

Komerční banka's Supervisory Board has therefore confirmed today the termination of his responsibility as Komerční banka's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer as of 9 September 2009.

Laurent Goutard was born in 1961. He graduated from the Political Studies Institute in Paris (Science-Po Paris) and the Paris-Dauphine University. He has been with Société Générale since 1986, where he worked in SG general inspection until 1993. Between 1993 and 1998 held managerial positions and worked for large corporations in the French distribution network and in 1998 was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of SGMB, an SG subsidiary in Morocco. He later became Chairman of the Board of Directors, and stayed in that position until June 2004. Laurent Goutard joined KB in September 2004 as Board of Directors Vice-Chairman and Deputy CEO. In 2005 he was elected KB Chairman and CEO.
