omerční banka follows up on last year's successful offer of its Termínovaný účet [Term Account] with a guarantee of early withdrawal without penalty. Clients therefore have an opportunity again to obtain a saving product that offers an attractive rate of interest of up to 3.0% p.a. together with fast access to money.

The guarantee makes it possible for the clients to have their money available in the event of unpropitious situations in life such as a long illness, loss of employment, or disability. Unlike the usual situations where banks penalise clients for early withdrawal of money from term accounts, Komerční banka allows clients to withdraw money without any penalties in such cases. KB therefore also credits the accrued attractive yield to clients. Clients can open a Termínovaný účet with a guarantee of early withdrawal without penalty for a term of one to five years, with a rate of interest of up to 3.0% p.a. depending on the selected maturity.

"Clients therefore receive attractive interest at a fixed rate, while retaining the certainty of having access to their money in case of need," said Radko Belada, Head of Retail Marketing at Komerční banka, adding: "We provide the guarantee of early withdrawal without penalties to clients for deposits of up to one million crowns."

The special offer of Termínovaný účet with a guarantee of early withdrawal without penalty is limited in time, and is open from 1 March 2010 to 9 April 2010.
