Komerční banka extended its international payment services in July 2010. KB has introduced the option of standard payment orders to foreign countries, which can currently be executed for 160 countries in altogether 110 currencies. Further, clients can set up standing orders for payments to foreign countries in currencies included in KB's exchange rates list.

Komerční banka has significantly broadened the options in respect of international payments. In July 2010 it started to offer clients payments to 160 countries in altogether 110 currencies. Clients can therefore place orders for payments to, for example, South Africa or the Arabian Peninsula countries and directly in the selected country's currency.

Another innovation is the opportunity to set up standing orders for payments to foreign countries. Komerční banka newly offers the service of standing orders, which is one of the most frequently used facilities in the system of payments within the Czech Republic, for the currencies that it normally trades.

”Improving and extending services for clients is our permanent priority. I am therefore glad that we can newly offer a further simplification of international payment transactions. I believe that clients will appreciate the option to set up a standing order for payments to foreign countries, or direct payments in the domestic currency, to, for example, South Korea,“ said Jana Švábenská, Executive Director for Operations.
