The signatures on the agreement between Komerční bank and the European Investment Bank (EIB) are the outcome of long-standing co-operation in the financing of projects in the private and public sectors. This latest agreement has been entered into for funds amounting to EUR 50 million (approximately CZK 1.2 billion).
Loans for small and medium-sized enterprises from the EIB funds are mainly intended for development projects of KB’s clients. Thanks to the co-operation with EIB, the standard rate of interest on loans has been cut by 0.3%.
KB’s clients can use the loan for financing any investments in tangible assets (with the exception of land) and investments in intangible assets. It is as easy to obtain the more advantageous loan as to file an application for a standard KB business loan: the client deals only with Komerční banka, which will arrange for the client’s participation in the scheme and acquaint him with all the conditions for drawing on the loan.
