On 1 April 2012, Komerční banka and Benzina expanded their co-operation in business payment cards. Holders of Kreditní karta pro podnikatele [Business Credit Card] will now obtain a discount of 2.2% when paying for fuels at Benzina fuel filling stations. Card holders need not ask the station operator to grant the discount; it will be automatically deducted upon payment using their credit cards, and then shown on the receipt. The discount, so far applicable only to payments made using the Dynamic electronic debit card, will be granted to all active credit cards, regardless of the date of issue, from 1 April 2012.

“Credit cards make it possible for businesses to pay for goods and services while saving the organisation’s money, which can then be used for purposes directly related to their activity, for example, payments to suppliers. When the credit card is used smartly the credit card owner does not pay any interest and, from now on, obtains a discount in addition. And given today’s fuel prices, such discount is worthwhile,” said Martin Kotek, Head of Segment & Product Management.

Kreditní karta pro podnikatele [Business Credit Card] is an international embossed card intended for natural persons who own a business, legal entities, housing cooperatives and condominiums.
