Download transactions via Direct Channel for the previous 24 months

Direct Channel now allows downloading of accounting data up to 24 months back instead of 1 month. All your data is therefore easily accessible for up to two years.

When importing payments using the Direct Channel, you can newly save the report as a .txt file that can be opened for example in Notepad. If you prefer the text format over the .csv table format, you can simply set this option in Administration.

Changes in sending of foreign payments paid out by a cheque

  • You can now send cheques in GBP only to Great Britain and with a maximum amount of 10,000 GBP.
  • Cheques in USD can be sent to all countries with a maximum amount of 10,000 USD. However, the value of the cheque is not limited when sending it to the United States of America.
  • Payments in EUR made to Slovakia have their fee type automatically set to OUR and this cannot be changed.

These changes apply to payments sent via the Foreign payment form as well as to payments loaded using batches.

Enter SEPA payments and foreign payments within the Czech Republic and Slovakia without errors in the account number

We will newly inform you if you make a mistake in the counterparty's account number in IBAN format for SEPA and foreign payments within the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We check IBAN in accordance with the national standards for account numbers just like for domestic payments, both when entered directly into a form and when loaded from accounting systems.

Change of deadline for sending domestic payments with conversion

We have shortened the time for entering a domestic payment with conversion (the payment currency is different than the currency of your account or the recipient's account for payment within the bank) from 20:30 to 17:00 due to new procedures which are part of the bank's currency risk management.

Installing the Service

How to get the Direct channel service?

If you have concluded the contract on using the Direct channel service, you can simply download the installation file and start using the service.

What are the preconditions for using the Direct channel service?

To be able to use the Direct channel service, you must have concluded the contract on using KB direct banking services at your home bank branch.

You can install the application easily either by downloading from this website (recommended – the process is explained below) or by launching the installation from Profibanka DVD.

How to install?

  • Download the installation file (approx. 6,93 MB).
  • After downloading, run the installation file – the installation wizard will guide you through the simple installation process. (If you use Windows XP, you have to log in as an administrator.)
  • Set the program according to help or the user guide.
  • The icon for starting the program from the START menu and Windows desktop will be created.

To set up the program, you need your ID (to be found in the contract, article 2). Every user must have a valid personal or company certificate to be able to communicate with KB. If you upgrade your application, setup is not needed.

Upgrading the Service

Upgrading the Direct channel service to 22.2.2 version

To be able to use the new functionalities of the Direct channel service, the following steps must be taken (all these steps you can do on 2nd December, 2017 or later):

  1. Download the self-extracting upgrade file. The size of the file is approx. 922 kB. The actual download is not carried out through Direct channel but through web browser.
  2. Copy this file to more stations if you use the application on multiple stations (it is not necessary to download the file to each station).
  3. Double-click the downloaded file to start upgrading (it will be executed automatically).

Older version of Direct channel application will be functional, but upgrade is recommended.

Note: If you use Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 it is not necessary to have administration rights for the PC.

You can also download and run complete installation file as an alternative possibility (it is not upgrade file, but complete installation file of Direct channel version 22.2.2).
