  • The new Mobilní banka will be available on Android from 24 August 2016.
  • We created the new Mobilní banka together with you, our clients. And tailored it directly to Android. The new app will require Android 4.1 or higher.
  • The app will now not only work on mobiles, but also on tablets. This means you will always have access to Mobilní banka when you need it – at home, at work, or on the road. You can now register up to four paired devices, which will also allow you to make payments to all accounts.
  • Other new features include fingerprint login and mobile payments at dealers.
  • Additional information is available in the Frequently Asked Questions and Videos for the new app tabs, or by calling 800 101 130.

  • The Mobilní banka app has changed / looks different – is that ok? Can't it be a fraud?

    This is really the new app directly from Komerční banka. The app's new features are not just about appearance, but also include new functions. Furthermore, controls are now even more intuitive. Among others, we also thought about using the app on tablets. The new version will fully adapt to a tablet.

  • Where can I get more information? What changed?

    More information is available at www.kb.cz/mobilnibanka or by calling 800 101 130 in the Czech Republic (or +420 955 517 781 from abroad - this line is available in Czech language, on workdays between 7:00 and 22:00 and on weekends and holidays between 8:00 and 22:00).

  • Why did the controls and appearance change?

    We wanted to adhere to the so-called design manual of individual manufacturers, i.e., make the app conform to what mobile phone users are used to. Feedback from our clients was also strongly involved in the development of the app.

  • I cannot install the app.

    The new version of the mobile app requires Android 4.1 or higher.

  • I cannot login. The app keeps returning the following message: "Incorrect login data".

    Maybe you did not enter your login ID. Please use your personal ID No. (i.e., your social security number) and password.

  • Will the same password still work?

    Yes, the password remains the same.

  • Is it necessary to re-enter direct debits and standing payment orders?

    No, your direct debits and standing payment orders have not changed and all information stays unchanged (including standing payment orders, payments, passwords...).

  • Is the Mobilní banka app secure?

    Yes. Active use requires either activation (pairing) of the mobile phone in the e-banking system or at a KB branch. You can also decide whether you want to only use the mobile phone to make payments to accounts in the templates of your e-banking or to all account, and you can also set your own password and limit.

  • I cannot pay to an arbitrary account.

    Please check that you have authorized (paired) the mobile phone and that payments to all accounts have been activated in the MojeBanka e-banking system or at a KB branch.

  • I blocked the app.

    The application can be unblocked in the MojeBanka e-banking system or at a KB branch.

  • Can I also go back to an older version of Mobilní banka app?

    That is no longer possible. App Store only offers the latest version.

  • I can't seem to get anywhere in the new version – all I see is an overview of accounts without other buttons. How can I place a payment or check the transaction history?

    The app's controls follow the rules for the phone where it is used. A simple overview for the controls of the new app can be found in the videos and guides available at www.kb.cz/mobilnibanka.

  • What if someone steals my mobile phone?

    Immediately contact us by calling 800 101 130 or 955 551 552.

  • Why cannot I change the appearance?

    We follow the recommendations of the manufacturer of the operating system (Google) and their design rules.

  • How can I change the language of the app?

    The app reads the language directly from the OS settings. If the OS is in Czech, then the Czech version will be used, and otherwise the English version of the app will be used.

  • Does the new version work on tablets?

    Yes, the controls and appearance will now fully adapt to tablets.

  • What are templates and counterparties?

    Counterparty – a stored account number of a recipient. If you regularly make payments for instance to a friend, but the amount and other parameters change from payment to payment, then you can name her account number and simply fill in the remaining information as needed.

    Template – a saved pre-filled in form of a payment order, which can include all necessary parameters. If you regularly make payments to a friend with the same amount (and same variable symbol, description etc.), you can make a template for that.

  • I have a new mobile phone. What do I need to do to use Mobilní banka on it?

    You need to connect (pair) the new mobile phone with the e-banking system.

  • What is the balance indicator and how does it work?

    That's one of the new features in this version of the app. The balance itself is a bank secret and none of us wants other people to be able to see it. Still, we would like to allow you to access this information without having to always log in.
