For 2015, KB Penzijní společnost has been named “The Best Pension Fund Czech Republic” for the fifth time in a row in the prestigious Awards of the UK-based Global Banking & Finance Review. In these ratings, KB Penzijní společnost has not found its defeater since 2011!
“The Komerční banka Group has long been one of the most reliable partners for citizens as regards pension savings. This is also borne out by KB Penzijní společnost’s successes in international awards, where expert juries decide on the basis of clearly set criteria,” said Pavel Racocha, KB Penzijní společnost’s Chairman and Executive Director.
The judging panel mainly evaluates the long-term transparency of pension funds, and their management and control system, customer services and success of investment strategies. The risk management system, yields achieved, investment diversification, overall security of assets under management, including return on investment, cost efficiency etc., also play an important role in the overall rating charts.
Stability and financial strength are not the only benefits offered by KB Penzijní společnost. It offers its scheme members additional benefits with their savings for retirement. Every new member of the supplementary pension scheme (the third pillar) receives a KB Penzijní společnost loyalty card, which is part of the SPHERE CARD loyalty scheme. On this card they can use benefits and discounts of 5 to 30% at more than 10,000 points of sale throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of KB PS’s successful operation in the pension savings market, we have extended the card validity to three years. At the end of card validity, scheme members can apply for a free new card for the following period.
All clients who have an active contract with KB PS can use an exclusive range of spa resort and recreational stays, now offered with extraordinary advantages, under the Relax programme. Their range and detailed description are available at www.kbps.cz
Scheme members who use Komerční banka’s Lady and A credit cards recoup 1% of every cashless payment made using these cards, and this amount is credited to their pension savings account at KB PS.
In the two pillars of the pension system, KB Penzijní společnost manages more than 563,000 active contracts. KB PS managed very well the transformation as of 1 January 2013 and is one of only two pension companies that ended up in the black for both years. As at 31 December 2014, the volume of funds managed by KB Penzijní společnost exceeded CZK 44 billion.
