In May, Komerční banka has cut the rates for Personal Loans, which can now be obtained for rates from as low as 7.9% p.a. (APR from 8.2% p.a.). In addition, the bank has significantly simplified and accelerated the approval process. Clients can have the money in their accounts in only 30 minutes. For example, monthly instalments are only CZK 1,800 for six-year CZK 100,000 loans throughout the repayment period.

The whole approval process is very fast, simple and safe and without the need to visit a branch. If everything is in order, the money is available for the client in his current account in half an hour. We offer transparent and equal conditions for all, and from the very beginning of the loan,” said Radek Basár, Deputy Executive Director for Marketing and Communication at KB.

According to a Navigator of Responsible Lending independent report drawn up by Charles University and EEIP, Komerční banka is the safest provider of consumer credit for 2014. The report follows up on the government’s National Economic Council’s recommendation for Czechs’ growing debt, which advocates enhancing financial competence. According to the Navigator, a loan is safe when the applicant understands its parameters, knows the quality of the selected provider, and is aware of the consequences of both repaying and defaulting on the loan.

According to Professor Michal Mejstřík, project guarantor, loan applicants need understandable charts with ranking prepared on the basis of the most important criteria, which they themselves should examine.
