Your privacy is very important for Komerční banka. This is the reason for our preparing this Statement. Information is provided here about which data KB collects and processes about its clients and why.

Claims resolution procedure

The Commercial Bank (KB) is constantly striving to provide the highest quality services which, as the first bank in the Czech Republic it undertook to provide within the scope of the Guaranteed Service Level Program.

However, if is a situation occurs in which you are not satisfied with the running of your account or with the offered services, your bank consultant is prepared to deal with your complaint. Should the consultant not settle the complaint to your complete satisfaction, you can contact the branch manager in writing.

If you are not satisfied with the settlement arranged by the branch, you can contact Customer Relations unit directly. If you still are unsatisfied after doing this, you can address the ombudsman within the spirit of the Ombudsman Charter principles.

Foreign Payments – restriction

KB doesn't perform payments to/from the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Bank shall be entitled to reject or postpone the execution of the Client's Order regardless payment's currency whose execution might be contrary especially to (i) law of the Czech Republic and law of the country of the intermediary bank (ii) business policy of intermediary bank (see links bellow). Due to reasons mentioned in the previous sentence the Bank shall also be entitled not to accept payments to the payee’s account. The Client hereby acknowledges that from the above mentioned reasons a payment may be returned or withheld by an intermediary bank. This provision applies especially to any outgoing or incoming payment, where the payee or the payer is a resident of the Islamic Republic of Iran or where the payee's or the payer's bank is fully or partly owned by Iranian entities.
