We will enable business and corporate entities that are account owners or have authorization to use the API service at KB.

Yes, you can activate services and connect accounts via a third-party application, such as an accounting system.

In that case, the STATDA service for downloading statements will suit your needs. It is important that your application supports this service. Simply activate the service API and connect your accounts via your application.

In this case, we recommend using the ADAA service once every 61 minutes. This will allow you to download current account movements to your application or system approximately once an hour.

If you have accounts in the MojeBanka / MojeBanka Business application, you do not need to sign or activate anything at the bank to use the services.

In general, only an authorized person can activate services and assign accounts. This is either the account owner, an authorized person, or a statutory representative of the company.

If you have accounts in the MojeBanka / MojeBanka Business app, you do not need to cancel or log out of anything on the bank's side. If you do not actively use the services, you do not pay any fees.

If you have any questions about your accounting system or other application, we recommend that you always contact your accounting system support first. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our MojeBanka / MojeBanka Business or KB+ applications via our email address.

If you use the MojeBanka / MojeBanka Business app, you don't need to set anything up. Everything will happen automatically.

The fee may change if you exceed the limits for using API services specified in the Price List. For example, if you use one of the API services through your application a maximum of 50 times in a month, you will not be charged, as 50 uses are free. However, if you exceed 50 uses in the following month, we will charge you either CZK 100 or CZK 500, depending on how often you use which services.

The fee is always charged at the end of the month in the same way you have set up for other fees on your accounts.

This limit includes all API service usage performed through your application in a given calendar month. Details for individual services can be found at https://www.kb.cz/api.

In this case, we will contact you to agree on individual terms for optimal use and operation of API services, or we will charge you a fee of CZK 0.50 per use of the service.

The fee always applies to all accounts belonging to a single entity.

Yes, if they are different entities, then the fee is charged to each entity that uses the API services.

All API services are subject to a fee, but if you use the API services no more than 50 times per month, you will not be charged any fee.

Yes, but first check whether your application supports KB Business API services. If so, you get 50 API service uses per month for free.

The monthly fee for using the services applies to all connected accounts within a single entity. It is therefore not calculated separately for each account.

Connecting an ERP, accounting, or reservation system to an account or accounts at KB via API is done through the given system. It is a simple two-step process, where you confirm each step with your authorization method (e.g., KB Key). We do not provide the connection of your system to the KB Business API service. 

Instructions for connecting your system can be found on the Komerční banka website. If you cannot find the instructions there, please contact your system's technical support.

The connection is valid for 12 months, after which it must be renewed for security reasons.

No, there is no need to worry. This is an official notification that the bank sends 2 to 3 weeks before the connection expires. We send the email to the contact email address of the person who authorized the connection.

Each connection has its own informational email. If you have registered multiple connections, you will receive multiple emails.

You can see all valid connections, including their expiration dates, in your banking app.

• If you use the MojeBanka app: Settings –> Open Banking –> Settings for direct access to accounts via API.
• If you use the MojeBanka Business app: Open Banking –> Access to KB accounts –> Settings for direct access to accounts via API.

Here you can disconnect unused connections using the Disconnect app button.

No, unfortunately this is not possible. Each connection must be extended separately. The extension must be authorized using your authorization method and must be performed by the person who first connected the API. If this person is no longer able to perform the extension, a new connection must be made, which will be authorized by a new authorized person.

You can see all valid connections, including their validity period, in your banking app.

The connection must be restored by the person who confirmed the initial connection using their authorization method. Otherwise, a new connection must be established.

You can extend the connection by clicking the Authenticate button. Extending direct access to accounts via API must be verified again using your authentication method. This can be done at any time, before or after the expiration date.  

The extension must be performed by the person who first verified the connection using their authentication method. Otherwise, it is necessary to create a new access.

Verify that you have the latest version of your accounting, ERP, or reservation system installed. You can find information about updates on your system's website, or contact technical support.

Delete all website cookies from your browser.

Make sure you are using a supported authorization method (SMS and password, chip card, or KB Klíč).

Contact the technical support of your accounting, ERP, or reservation system with the problem.

Obtain logs from your system, a screenshot of the error, and the account number to which it relates. Your IT specialist or system technical support will advise you on how to obtain the logs. Send the documents to api@kb.cz.

• Check that none of the orders or payment orders are for foreign payments. The KB Business API service only supports domestic or SEPA payments.
• Make sure you have the correct number of orders in the batch.
• For online processing: max. 100 orders in one batch, max. 1000 orders per day (the limit is 1,000 orders in online batches from BATCHDA per client per day and decreases with each batch).
• For continuous mode: max. 100 orders in 1 batch, max. 1,000 orders per day.
• For batch mode: max. 100 commands in one batch, almost unlimited number of batches per day.
• Make sure you have authorized the batch in the corporate banking application (either you or another person with authorization rights). 

Yes, orders can only be sent in batches via the API. This means that even a single order must be sent in a batch.

No, benefit payments must always be authorized in our banking app.

After sending the batch to the bank, it must still be authorized in one of the applications, i.e. MojeBanka Business, Profibanka, or Mobilní banka Business.  

To authorize payment orders sent in a batch via the KB Business API service from an ERP, accounting, or reservation system to KB, go to the corporate banking application via the Main Menu.

You can find the sent orders in the Batch Orders -> Batches for Authorization folder.

Check this folder in the application and authorize the batch (or have another person with authorization rights do so).

We apologize, but this service is not yet available in the KB+ app. Payment authorization is only available to users of our MojeBanka Business, Profibanka, and Mobilní banka Business apps, which support this functionality.

Request an exception at api@kb.cz. More frequent transaction history calls are charged according to the Price List.

The service is free for up to 50 downloads per month (for example, if you download your transaction history once a day on working days for two accounts).   

More than 50 downloads per month costs CZK 100 per month, with a maximum of one use of the service every 61 minutes. Downloading your transaction history at shorter intervals, i.e. a maximum of once every 10 minutes, will cost you CZK 500 per month.

Click the Settings gear icon. In the Open banking section, select Settings of direct access to accounts via API.

Click the connection you want to change or disconnect. You'll see a list of the accounts it affects. Click Edit, or click Options and then Disconnect.

Enable or disable access to this account. Click Save Settings.

From the menu, select Open banking, Access to KB accounts, and Settings of direct access to accounts via API.

You’ll see a list of connections and the accounts they apply to. Click Edit or, if necessary, Disconnect.

Enable or disable access to this account. Click Save.
