Awards

As part of the Mastercard Bank of the Year 2025 awards, we took first place in the Bank Without Barriers category, which assesses the accessibility of banking services for people with disabilities. We were also named Corporate Bank of the Year, confirming our strong position in the corporate banking segment. In addition to these major achievements, we also received awards in the Responsible Bank of the Year, Private Bank of the Year, and Developer Bank of the Year categories.

Komerční banka has once again ranked among the TOP 10 large enterprises in terms of the ESG rating of the Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business. This rating recognizes Czech companies with the most honest approach to ESG and provides an independent comparison of the quality of non-financial reporting across the market.   

This year, we managed to build on the success of previous years once again. We won two awards at the latest TOP Responsible Company ratings, specifically TOP Responsible Large Company and TOP Responsible Company in Reporting.

Every year, the alliance for responsible and sustainable business - Business for Society - recognizes companies that are truly serious about sustainability and responsible business issues. These are companies that are strategically committed to the long-term development of sustainability, have a positive impact on their employees and society, reduce their environmental impact, and bring innovative solutions.

In 2025, we were once again successful in the Golden Crown financial products competition. For the fourth time, we succeeded in the Green Crown category, this time with our Sustainable Housing Loan, which supports the financing of energy-efficient renovations and modernizations.

This year, the weekly magazine Ekonom organized the Sustainable Forum 2025, where we received the PwC Award for ESG projects. The award recognized our initiative Without Barriers, which improves the accessibility of banking services for people with disabilities. 

The Visa payment network presented the Visa Awards 2024 to Czech banks and payment solution providers that are pushing the boundaries of digital banking with their innovations. Komerční banka won the #1 sustainable bank award for its ESG performance. 

We are regularly evaluated by the rating agencies MSCI ESG and S&P SAM, which evaluate the sustainable approach of companies and the comprehensive impact of business on society and the environment. In the MSCI ESG rating, we have maintained a very good AA rating for two years in a row.

We are the first Czech bank that, since 2018, has been part of one of the world's main indices of socially responsible companies - the FTSE4Good Index Series. The index is compiled by FTSE Russell (The Financial Times Stock Exchange Group). The FTSE4Good Index Series identifies companies that are active in their approach to environmental protection, maintaining a high level of social and corporate governance. The measurement is carried out on the basis of globally recognized standards.

In the FTSE4Good index, we are now rated 4,2 points (out of a maximum of 5 possible points).
