Election of a member and chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Komerční banka, a.s.

Komerční banka, a. s., with its registered office at Prague 1, Na Příkopě 33, No. 969, postal code 114 07, ID No. 45317054, registered in the register of companies maintained by the Metropolitan Court of Prague, Section B, Insert 1360, announces that at the proposal of the Supervisory Board's Nomination Committee, it has appointed Ms. Cécile Bartenieff as a substitute member of the Supervisory Board of Komerční banka, a. s., until the next General Meeting, with effect from September 25, 2025. At the same time, it elected Ms. Cécile Bartenieff as Chairperson of the Supervisory Board.

Cécile Bartenieff holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the ESSEC Business School, Cornell University, New York, USA. Cécile has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 1990 in consulting at Accenture and then, in 1996, moved into banking at BRED Banque Populaire. She joined Société Générale in 2000 starting to work within the Corporate and Investment Banking division. Then, she held various managerial roles in the Finance and Operations departments before being appointed Global Head of Operations in 2014 and, subsequently, Chief Operating Officer of Global Banking and Investor Solutions in 2017. Since 2022, she has been Chief Executive Officer of Société Générale Asia-Pacific. With effect from 1 September 2025, she has been appointed Head of Mobility and International Retail Banking & Financial Services. She is a member of Société Générale Strategic Group Committee.
