Komerční banka Buys ENVIROS, the Energy Advice Leader
Komerční banka has decided to expand its energy and environment consultancy activities and became the 100% owner of ENVIROS, a Czech company. Through this merger, KB will significantly boost its current project advice and financing know-how, focusing on energy, sustainability, and ESG.

ENVIROS is the most important local player amongst consultancies providing energy and environment advisory services, and also operates as an independent adviser on the financing of energy saving projects and RES projects for a number of major companies and institutions in the Central European market. The decision to acquire ENVIROS was therefore very logical. This acquisition will help Komerční banka to supplement and significantly support KB Advisory’s further development; in particular, it will make it possible for KB Advisory to reach much more extensive projects that require highly specific know-how.
“KB Advisory and ENVIROS have already carried out a number of joint projects. The merger of the two companies will make us more efficient and able to carry out more projects for our clients. We also seek a closer interconnection between advisory services and financing, for example, in energy savings or building certification.”
