USEFUL INFORMATION

  • Cashless foreign payment transactions in CZK and foreign currencies or foreign currency payments to other banks in the Czech Republic
  • Available to anyone with an account in KB intended for payments
  • Special rates for payments made to/from our branch in Slovakia
  • International payments can be executed in AUD, BGN, CAD, CNY, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HRK, HUF, CHF, JPY, NOK, PLN, RON, RUB, SEK, TRY, and USD. Payments in other currencies (approximately 110 currencies to 160 countries) can only be submitted on a paper form at KB branches
  • Benefit from online telephone assistance relating to payments
  • We recommend that you use the IBAN account number format and BIC (SWIFT) code for reliable processing of your international payment
  • Incoming international payments are credited immediately during the due date
  • Special low fees for the first incoming international payment of up to CZK 10,000 each month received by individuals – treated as a small payment

Payments can be submitted:

  • Online
  • Via imported batches
  • As standing orders for international payments
  • Through a paper form

Fees for payments are charged based on the selected fee type:

  • BEN – all fees paid by the creditor. The transferred amount shall be decreased by the Bank's fees and, at the same time, may also be decreased by the fees charged by intermediary banks. This type of fee can´t be indicated for EEA payments and for payments in a currency not specified in the Notice on the Payment System.

  • SHA – the debtor pays the fees of the debtor´s bank, the creditor pays the fees of the creditor´s bank, at the same time, the creditor´s bank and/or intermediary banks may charge the creditor with a fee set forth by these banks, or the transferred amount may be reduced by the amount of the aforesaid fees. This type is mandatory for payments to EEA countries.

  • OUR – all fees paid by the debtor. The Bank can´t guarantee that the creditor´s bank and/or intermediary banks shall respect the “OUR” charge code. This type of fee can´t be indicated for EEA payments.

Types of payments based on processing deadlines:

  • Standard – no more than 3 business days after the payment order date. For EUR payments to EEA countries, no later than 1 business day after the payment order date
  • Express – no more than 1 business day after the payment order date more. Not available for AUD, CNY, and JPY due to different time zones
  • Urgent – same business days as the payment order date. Urgent payments are only available for the following currencies: CAD, CZK, DKK, GBP, HRK, HUF, CHF, EUR, NOK, PLN, RUB, SEK, and USD
