Jan Juchelka

Jan Juchelka

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer

Graduate of the Silesian University in Opava, In 1995, he joined the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic. Between 2002 and 2005, he also acted as Chairman of its Executive Committee. Between 1999 and 2006, he was a member of Komerční banka's Supervisory Board. In 2006, he joined Komerční banka, first as head of the Corporate Banking Business Division in Prague and later the same year as a member of the Board of Directors holding responsibility for managing the Top Corporations and the Investment Banking Business Arms. In 2012, he started to work at the Société Générale headquarters in Corporate and Investment Banking as the Managing Director, Head of Coverage with responsibility for corporate clients in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also simultaneously acted as a Senior Banker for Central and Eastern Europe. The Board of Directors of Komerčni banka elected Mr. Jan Juchelka as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Komerčni banka with effect from August 3, 2017. At present, he is the chairman of the Board responsible for Human Resources, Communication, Business Consulting, Internal Audit and Strategy and Finance.

Jitka Haubová

Jitka Haubová

Member of the Board, Senior Executive Director, Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Jitka Haubová graduated from the University of Economics in Prague majoring in finance and accounting, completed a Financial Management course at Galilee College in Israel, obtained a certificate as a structural fund’s specialist from the European Commission and is a certified international auditor for quality processes. Jitka began her professional career at the Czech Government agency for support of trade CzechTrade where she also served as CEO. She co-owned a family café and restaurant for several years. Jitka joined KB’s Trade Finance department in 2006. Since 2012 she has held various managerial roles in corporate and municipal Banking, which it has managed for the last four years.

 

Miroslav Hiršl

Miroslav Hiršl

Member of the Board, Senior Executive Director, Retail Banking

Graduated from the University of Economics, Prague, with a specialization in foreign trade and banking, and from the Graduate School of Banking, Boulder, Colorado. From 1996 to 2006, he worked on various positions within Komerční banka, first at the branch and at the regional branch in Hradec Králové, later at the regional branch and at the head office of KB in Prague. From 2006 to 2014, he worked for the Company Modrá pyramida stavební spořetelna, a.s., first as the Director for business synergies, later as a member of the Board of Directors, Deputy CEO, Executive Director for Business and Marketing, and finally as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, First Deputy CEO, Executive Director for Business and Marketing. Between 2014 and 2018, he served as the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of SG Montenegro banka, a.d. in Montenegro. Since August 2018, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Komerční banka responsible for Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Portfolio Management and Network Management Support.

Katarina Kurucová

Katarína Kurucová

Member of the Board, Senior Executive Director, Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB)

Katarína Kurucová is a graduate of the City University, Bellevue, USA specialized in Business Administration. Between 1994 and 1998, she worked as an investment manager with the Slovak American Enterprise Fund in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 1995, she participated in the Slovak Business Leaders Internship Program in New York and Chattanooga, USA. Between 1998 and 1999, she worked as a management consultant with Deloitte, Bratislava, Slovakia. From 1999 to 2011, she served as Vice-President, Client Relationship Management, in the Slovak Branch of ING Bank N.V. Since 2011 - May 2025, she has been Executive Director (Foreign Bank Branch Director) of KB's branch in Slovakia.

Didier Colin

Didier Colin

Member of the Board, Senior Executive Director, Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Graduate of the Paris Dauphine University and holds an MBA from the City University of New York. He has a long-term professional experience within Société Générale Group stretching from 1990. Didier started his professional career as a Credit Analyst before working for seven years as an Audit Inspector. In 2000, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Country Manager and subsequently Country Manager for Canada. Didier left the position in 2004 to join Komerční banka as a member of the Board of Directors in charge of Risk Management. In 2011, he assumed the position Director for Europe Region, International Retail Banking Division, to supervise Société Générale’s retail activities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2013, he has worked at BRD Romania as Deputy CEO responsible for managing BRD’s risk activities. With effect from 1 October 2017, he was elected by the Supervisory Board as a Member of the Board of Directors of Komerční banka in charge of Risk Management.

Margus Simson

Margus Simson

Member of the Board, Senior Executive Director, Chief Digital Officer (CDO)

Graduate of the Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, with a degree in economics. Between 2000 and 2006, he worked as Head of the web-environments department of the SEB bank. Between 2006 and 2009, he was Head of e-channels in Swedbank. From 2009 to 2013, he worked on various IT-related positions in Eesti Energia, the biggest energy producer and provider in Estonia. In 2014 he worked as Deputy Director of Riigi infosüsteem Amet, the Estonian Information System Authority. From 2009 to 2017, he served as CEO and as an expert on digital strategy in Ziraff, the Estonian most-experienced digital services company. Between 2017 and 2019, he was Head of Digital and CDO in Luminor, a bank. With effect from 14 January 2019, he was elected by the Supervisory Board as a member of the Board of Directors of Komerční banka, Chief Digital Officer  in charge of the units of Information Technology, Organization and Change Management and Information Management, and of the Tribes of Business Services, Platform Services, Data Management and Enterprise Services.
