Mobile payments with Google Pay will allow you to digitalise any of your contactless debit or credit cards. With Google Pay, you can make payments in a simple, quick, and secure way using your mobile phone that you always have at hand.

  1. Download or update your Mobilní banka app.
  2. In your MojeBanka internet banking, go to Settings and enable payments to any account for Mobilní banka. Pair the relevant mobile device.
  3. Open the Mobilní banka app. In the Cards menu, select the debit or credit card you wish to digitalise.
  4. You will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions for Debit Payment Cards (or personal / business and corporate credit cards, as appropriate) issued by Komerční banka as well as the Terms and Conditions of Google as the Google Pay operator.
  1. You can use Google Pay easily and securely at any point of sale that supports contactless payments.
  2. Check your mobile phone settings and make sure that NFC is enabled.
  3. For payments of up to CZK 500, you only need to wake up your mobile phone and hold it over the contactless payment terminal. For payments exceeding CZK 500, it is also necessary to unlock your device (PIN, gesture, fingerprint, etc.).
  4. The payment confirmation is displayed on your mobile phone and in a notification message.
  • Your payment card number is not stored in your mobile phone and it is not available to a merchant during the payment process. A unique digital card number is used instead. 
  • For enhanced security, you may also be asked to unlock your mobile phone for payments below CZK 500.
  • In case you lose your phone and are a Google Pay user, you can first check the location of your device using the “Find my device” functionality at It is then possible to lock the mobile phone remotely using a new passcode or delete it completely.
  • To block your digital card, you can contact the Payment Card Customer Service at +420 955 512 230.

  • I was unable to digitalise my payment card.
    Verify that your card is valid, active and supports contactless payments. Payment cards cannot be digitalised during the last month prior to their expiration. Following the renewal of your original payment card, please wait until the status of your new card is active in Mobilní banka; you can then digitalise your card and use it for Google Pay mobile payments.
  • Is it possible to digitalise several payment cards for Google Pay mobile payments?
    Yes, you can select any KB contactless debit or credit card in Mobilní banka. You must install the Google Pay app to define a default (primary) card for payments.
  • I was unable to make a POS payment.
    Please check that your mobile phone supports the NFC technology and this function is enabled in your settings. It is also necessary to select Google Pay as the default payment application in the phone settings, usually referred to as “Tap and pay”.
  • It is necessary to unlock my phone for each payment.
    For some mobile phone models, it may be necessary to unlock the phone prior to each payment. This depends on the manufacturer of your device.
  • What PIN should I enter if requested on the payment terminal screen?
    Enter the same PIN you use when making payments with your plastic card.
  • What are the limits for payments using the digital card in my mobile phone?
    The POS payment limits are the same as for your plastic cards. 
  • Is it possible to make online payments using the digital card?
    This functionality is currently not available; however, we expect that it will be possible to make online payments – on the Internet or in mobile apps – in the near future.
  • Is it possible to make an ATM withdrawal using the digital card?

    Yes;, it is possible to make withdrawals on ATMs that support contactless function. You must always enter your card PIN.

  • Is it possible to make on ATM deposit transaction using the digital card?
    This functionality is currently not supported.
