Is your certificate in a file expiring soon?

  • The certificate in a file cannot be extended anymore. Why? Because we have come up with new login methods that will not only be safe for you, but also comfortable.

  • No more searching for a certificate on your computer or carrying a flash drive with the certificate. From now on, your mobile phone is just enough. And it doesn't matter whether it's a smartphone or keypad mobile. We have a solution for both.

Good to know

The KB Klíč is an app designed to verify your identity and is functional on smartphones running Android 4.1 and higher and iOS as of version 9.

Log in with your username that you fill in on your computer's login page. When you sign in, you receive a notification on your phone to access the KB Klíč. There you can confirm by a PIN, fingerprint or face scan.

Benefits of the KB Klíč

  • It works even when you phone is not connected to internet
  • It allows you to log in from anywhere without installing a certificate
  • It supports a fingerprint and face scan
  • Unlocking access (after repeated incorrect PIN entry) is also possible through a KB ATM


The Security Password method is a traditional way of logging in, especially designed for keypad mobile phones which cannot use KB Klíč.

Log in with your username, password, and possibly a sms code you receive on your phone.

Do you still have a valid certificate?

  • YES - simply set the new method via MůjProfil
    See the video tutorial for more information.
  • NO – don’t worry, just contact a KB branch where you can get the new method

You do not need to block the certificate after you activate the new login method. It will be blocked automatically as soon as it expires.

We are keeping the certificate on a smart card and a company certificate in a file for downloading accounting data. You can continue to use them as you are used to.

KB Klíč

  •  Sign in using a secure app in your smartphone. No need for a certificate, simply use your smartphone.
  • Use it to sign into MojeBanka, MojeBanka Business, and the MůjProfil portal.

TIP NO. 2: If you use MojeBanka, MojeBanka Business and eTrading for business purposes, please make sure that the login method you select has been authorised by your company.

TIP NO. 3: If you are under the age of 18, you need to change your internet banking login method at a branch, together with your legal guardian. You cannot update it online.

USEFUL INFORMATION

KB Klíč is a smartphone app intended for mobile phones featuring Android 4.1 or newer as well as iOS devices featuring iOS 9 or newer.

You will no longer need a certificate to log in! Simply select a username (e.g. your email) to use on the login page.

During the login process, you will receive a notification in your smartphone that will take you to the KB Klíč app. Once in the application, you need to complete the authentication process – either using a PIN, fingerprint scanner or facial recognition – to sign into your internet banking on your computer.

In addition to the login process, KB Klíč will also be used to authorize payment orders, implement changes, and sign documents in the MojeBanka / MojeBanka Business application.

OUR TIP. Our internet banking makes it possible to save your user name on a computer that you trust. In order to save your information, check the “Remember me” checkbox.

It is not necessary to disable your certificate if you activate a new login method.
It will be disabled automatically upon expiration.

Please note!

In case you also use a file-based certificate for other applications (ekurýr), please make sure you keep your certificate and do not disable it.

We will continue to support smartcard-based certificates and file-based company certificates for accounting data downloads. Therefore, you can still use it the way you do now.

OUR TIP: You can activate all login methods in your MůjProfil portal. It is solely up to you to select the one you wish to use at any given time.

  1. Install the KB Klíč app from Google Play or App Store. Launch the app and click ACTIVATE APPLICATION.
  2. Submit an identification number from your Agreement as well as a one-time password received in activation SMS.
  3. Click CONTINUE.
  4. Enter your own username upon when you log in for the first time (e.g. your email).
  5. Select your own PIN that will be used to sign into KB Klíč. PIN must feature at least 6 digits. Click CONTINUE.
  6. Confirmation of successful activation will be displayed – confirm by clicking the CLOSE button.
  7. KB Klíč is now ready and you can sign into your internet banking for the first time
  8. Using your computer, go to www.kb.cz and then click Internet Banking. Select the application of your choice.
  9. 9. Submit your username on the login screen using your computer and click CONTINUE.. Countdown will be displayed on your computer screen within which you must complete the authorization using the KB Klíč app.
  10. In the KB Klíč app in your smartphone, you will see login information - click LOGIN
  11. 11. You need to authorise the login process – either using PIN, fingerprint scanner or facial recognition – and click LOGIN..

USEFUL INFORMATION

This is a traditional and reliable login method, namely suitable for older basic phones with keyboards. Sign in with your user name, password, and an eventually SMS code sent to your phone.

This login method may be used for internet banking MojeBanka, MojeBanka Business, eTrading and the MůjProfil portal. Other applications will follow.

  • Select your own user name.
  • You can unlock your account (when password is entered incorrectly several times) using a KB ATM – no need to visit a branch.
  • This method is suitable for older basic phones with keyboards.

Once you activate the new login method, your certificate will not be automatically invalidated. It will remain in full force until its expiration date. In case you do not wish to keep it as a backup login option, you can block it via the MůjProfil portal.

Note:

In case you also use other application that utilize a certificate in a file (such as eTrading), keep your certificate and do not block it. The Security Password + SMS login is not available for other applications (other than MojeBanka and MojeBanka Business) for the time being.

We are currently working on implementing this login method for other applications as well and will inform you in due time. Smartcard-based certificates and company certificates in a file to download accounting data will still be available and you can continue using them the way you are used to.

TIP: All login methods can be active within the MůjProfil portal – it is solely up to you, which method you use.

  1. On the Mojebanka sign-in page enter 9-digit contract identity number in the field for entering username and confirm with the Continue button.
  2. On the next screen enter 9-digit single-use activation SMS message.
  3. Choose your own username. The username must be unique and we recomment to enter your own E-mail address, for example. Then press the Continue button.
  4. Think of your password to sign up. The password must meet the following conditions:
    1. be at least 8 characters long
    2. include one GREAT letter
    3. include one small letter
    4. include one figure
    5. include one special character
  5. After pressing Continue button you are in the last step with information about successful activation.

PLEASE NOTE

With regard to the existing login methods, we will continue to support personal smartcard-based certificates and file-based company certificates for accounting data downloads. 

We are no longer issuing personal file-based certificates and it will not be possible to renew these certificates as of 17 April 2019. As long as your certificate is still valid, you can set up the new login method of your choice online. Please see the KB Klíč tab or Security Password tab.

Useful information

Moreover, you can start using a smartcard, if you wish to switch over to one of the new login methods (KB Klíč or Security Password).
In order to use a smartcard, you need a smartcard reader and a computer with a Windows operating system.
