EuroGreen Loan

EuroGreen can be used for:

• investments in technologies that ensure at least a 30% reduction in energy consumption or emissions,
• the implementation of sustainable projects, such as solar energy and solar energy storage projects,
• investments in the construction or renovation of commercial buildings smaller than 5,000 m² (insulation, replacement of doors and windows, replacement of heating and air conditioning equipment, roof and wall insulation, products for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and hot water, products for heat measurement and thermostatic control, energy-efficient building automation and control systems, facade and roof elements with shading or sun control functions, light sources),
• investments related to the manufacture of products that contribute to energy savings,
• reducing climate vulnerability in agriculture.

The loan can also be used for:

• digital technologies aimed at increasing resilience to climate change, 
• ecosystem measures, including green and blue infrastructure, 
• flood prevention and control,
• measures in national strategies,
• investments reducing the impact of climate change in cities, and more.

The maximum amount of the investment loan with specific use is CZK 180 million, and its maturity is 1 to 10 years.

The following activities cannot be financed:

• renovation or construction of buildings that do not meet energy standards,
• heating other than with renewable fuels/natural gas boilers that meet the criteria, or with district heating under certain conditions,
• nuclear energy, tobacco, waste disposal in landfills,
• purchase of passenger cars with certain CO₂ emission limits, 
• mining and quarrying, air transport, chemical production,
• construction of new real estate projects (except for energy efficiency or social housing projects) and other development activities.
