Ponte loan

A Ponte loan is intended to finance municipal projects supported by EU fund subsidy programs and other sources. It can be used by entrepreneurs (natural and legal persons) or municipalities (cities, municipalities, associations of cities and municipalities, regions, and contributory organizations established by them or legal entities founded by them).

There are two types of financing:

• a loan for pre-financing a project subsidized by the EU and other sources,
• a loan for co-financing a project subsidized by the EU and other sources.

You can use the loan for:

• renovations,
• construction of hospitals, schools, and kindergartens,
• infrastructure development (water supply, sewerage, sidewalks, roads, public lighting), 
• purchase of public transport vehicles.

Are the implementation of your project and the drawing of subsidies not synchronized? Then you can resolve this situation by taking advantage of a short-term to medium-term loan. Subsequently, you can follow up with a medium-term or long-term loan to finance parts of the project that are not covered by subsidies.

The principal can be repaid from subsidies drawn from European Union funds or other sources, or from your own resources.
